No. G.S.R. 61/H.A. 3/1975/S.8.97.-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly Speaker’s and Deputy Speaker’s Salaries and Allowances Act, 1975, the Governor of Haryana hereby make the following rules to regulate the allowances of Speaker and Deputy Speaker, namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Haryana Legislative Assembly Speaker’s and Deputy Speaker’s Allowance Rules, 1997.
(2) These rules shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 1st August, 1997.
2. A sumptuary allowance at the rate of 2(seven thousand and five hundred rupees per mensem) shall be paid to the Speaker and Deputy Speaker.
3. A conveyance allowance at the rate of ten thousand rupees per mensem shall be paid to the Speaker and Deputy Speaker in lieu of State car.
