THE KERALA ESSENTIAL ARTICLES CONTROL (TEMPORARY POWERS) CONTINUANCE ACT, 1972

(Act 1 of 1973)

An Act further to continue the Kerala Essential Articles Control (Temporary Powers) Act, 1961.

Preamble.-WHEREAS 1t is expedient to continue the Kerala Essential Articles Control (Temporary Powers) Act, 1961, for a further period,

BE it enacted in the Twenty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. Short title.-This Act may be called the Kerala Essential Articles Control (Temporary Powers) Continuance Act, 1972.

2. Amendment of section 1:- In sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Kerala Essential Articles Control (Temporary Powers) Act, 1961 (3 of 1962), for the words "eleven years", the words "fourteen years" shall be substituted.
