THE MEGHALAYA APPROPRIATION (No. III) ACT, 1988
MEGHALAYA ACT NO. 12 OF 1988
An Act To authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of Meghalaya for the services of the financial year 1988-89.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Meghalaya in the Thirty-ninth Years of the Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title and Commencement :- This Act may be called the Meghalaya Appropriation (No. III) Act, 1988
2. Withdrawal of Rs. 12,53,06,927 from and out of the Consolidated Fund of Meghalaya for the financial year 1988- 89 :- From and out of the Consolidated Fund of Meghalaya there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in Column (3) of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of twelve crores, fifty three lakhs, six thousand, nine hundred twenty-seven rupees towards defraying the several charges which will come in the course of payment during the financial year 1988-89 in respect of the services specified in Column (2) of the Schedule.
3. Appropriation :- The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of Meghalaya by this Act, shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the said year.
