THE MEGHALAYA APPROPRIATION (VOTE-ON-ACCOUNT) ACT, 1988
MEGHALAYA ACT NO. 3 OF 1988
An Act To provide for the withdrawal of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of Meghalaya for the services of a part of financial year 1988-89
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Meghalaya in the Thirty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title and commencement :- This Act may be called the Meghalaya Appropriation (Vote-on-Account) Act, 1988.
2. Withdrawal of Rs. 90,86,96,675 from and out of the Consolidated Fund of Meghalaya for the financial year 1988-89 :- From and out of the Consolidated Fund of Meghalaya there may be withdrawn sums not exceeding those specified in Column (3) of the Scheduled amounting in the aggregate to the sums of ninety crores, eighty six lakhs, ninety six thousand, six hundred seventy five rupees towards defraying the several charges which will come in the course of payment during the period of three months beginning on the first day of April 1988 in respect of the services specified in Column (2) of the Schedule.
