NOTIFICATION
No.Health.50/2007/60.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, the Governor of Meghalaya is pleased to make the following Rules to amend the Meghalaya Medical Attendance Rules, 1981, (hereinafter referred to as the principal rules with immediate effect and until further orders:-
1. Short title, commencement :- (i) (i) These rules may be called the Meghalaya Medical Attendance Rules (Amendment), 2014.
(ii) They shall come into force at once.
2. Under Sub-Rule (3) of Rule 8 of the Principal Rules, the following shall be substituted in place of the existing Rules.
(ii) In case of acute emergency the Authorised Medical Attendant may refer the patient to the empanelled hospitals subject to approval by the Director of Health Services.
