THE RAJASTHAN PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES' LAWS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2010

An Act to amend the Private Universities' Laws.
Be it enacted by the Rajasthan State Legislature in the Sixty-first Year of the Republic of india, as follows:-
1. Short title and commencement.-(1) This Act may he called the Rajasthan Private Universities' Laws (Amendment) Act, 2010.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. Definitions.-In this Act, unless the context otherwise .requires,-
(a) "Private Universities' Laws" means the Private Universities' Acts specified in the Schedule; and
(b) "Schedule" means the Schedule appended to this Act.
3. Amendment of Private Universities' Laws.-In the Private Universities' Laws, for the existing expressions "Chancellor", "Vice-chancellor" and "Pro-Vice-chancellor" whenever occurring, the expressions "Chairperson", "President" and "Pro-President" respectively shall be substituted.
