Delegation of the powers under section 5 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 to all the State and Union Territory Environment Impact Assessment Authorities constituted by the Central Government under sub-section (3) of section 3 of Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, to issue show cause notice to project proponents in case of violation of the conditions of the envioronment clearances and other issues.

The Central Govt. hereby delegates the powers vested in it under section 5 of the said Act to all the State and Union Territory Environment Impact Assessment Authorities (Hereinafter referred to as the said Authorities) constituted by the Central Government
