In continuation of Notification S.O. 2024 (E), dated June 09, 2016 S.O. no. 2105(E) dated 14th June, 2016 and S.O. no. 2148(E) dated 17th June, 2016 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of Section 7 of the Haj Committee Act, 2002 (35 of 2002) , the election of Shri Choudhary Mehboob Ali Kaiser, as Chairperson and Shri Sultan Ahmed, as Vice-Chairperson and Shri Shaikh Jina, as Vice-Chairperson of the Haj Committee of India in the meeting of the Haj Committee held on 24th June 2016 is hereby notified. This is subject to the decision in the Writ Petition No. 1357 of 2016 pending in the Hon’ble High Court of Bombay as per the order dated 17 June 2016.
