NOTIFICATION - Department of Revenue - 2016-07-12

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 53 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (61 of 1985), the Central Government hereby rescinds the notification by the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, SubSection (ii) vide number S.O. 2864 (E), dated the 11 th December 2008, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such recession. 

This notification shall come into force from the date of its publication in the official Gazette.
