In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (18 of 2016), the Central Government hereby appoints the 12 day of July 2016, as the date on which the provisions of sections 11 to 20, 22 to 23 and sections 48 to 59 of the said Act shall come into force.
