The Central Council of Indian Medicine has, in pursuance of Sub-Section (1) of Section 23 of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970) is maintaining a register as the Central Register of Indian Medicine which contains the names of persons enrolled on the State Register of Indian Medicine of Punjab and who possess any of the medical qualifications recognised under the Act
