128. ड्राइवरों और पिछली सवारियों के लिए सुरक्षा उपाय -- (1) दो पहिए वाले मोटर साइकिल का डाइवर मोटर साइकिल पर अपने अतिरिक्त एक से अधिक व्यक्ति नहीं ले जाएगा और ऐसा कोई व्यक्ति ड्राइवर की सीट के पीछे उपयुक्त सुरक्षा उपायों से दृढ़ता से लगी हुई समुचित सीट पर बैठा कर ही ले जाया जाएगा, अन्यथा नहीं ।
(2) केन्द्रीय सरकार, उपधारा (1) में उल्लिखित सुरक्षा उपायों के अतिरिक्त, दो पहिया मोटर साइकिलों और उनकी पिछली सवारियों के लिए अन्य सुरक्षा उपाय विहित कर सकेगी।
128. Safety measures for drivers and pillion riders -- (1) No driver of a two-wheeled motor cycle shall carry more than one person in addition to himself on the motorcycle and no such person shall be carried otherwise than sitting on a proper seat securely fixed to the motorcycle behind the driver's seat with appropriate safety measures.
(2) In addition to the safety measures mentioned in sub-section (1), the Central Government may, prescribe other safety measures for the drivers of two-wheeled motorcycles and pillion riders thereon.
