Sanction to frame "State Service Exam Rules-2015"

A meeting of the state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today to replace State Public Service Commission's 'State Service Exam Rules-2008' by 'State Service Exam Rules-2015'.

The state government decided to give guarantee of Rs. 500 core medium-term loan to be availed from Rural Electrification Corporation, New Delhi by Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited, Jabalpur for arrangement of working capital.

The cabinet endorsed decision for pension to living widows, parents of those killed and injured in anti-Sikh riots of 1984. Rs. 2500 per month pension will be given with effect from April 1, 2013.

The cabinet decided to give one-time exemption of 2 years in 5 years' qualifying service under departmental service rules for promotions to post of Deputy Director Prosecution from year 2015 to 2016.

The cabinet decided to give one-time exemption of one year in 5 years' qualifying service under service recruitment rules for promotions in view of shortage of superintending engineers in Urban Development and Environment Department.

The cabinet endorsed decision to exempt from entertainment tax the tickets sold for one-day international cricket match played between South Africa and India on October 14, 2015 at Indore.

The cabinet decided to merge primary health centres of Mandhdata and Omkareshwar and construct a 20-bed hospital at Omkareshwar. For this, 11 new posts of paramedical and other cadres have been sanctioned along with existing ones. Rs. 225 lakh has been sanctioned for its building and Rs. 43.95 lakh for equipments and furniture.

The cabinet decided to create one post of Chief Engineer in view of shortage in Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation.
