A state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today decided to extend special recruitment drive to fill backlog/carry forward posts reserved for SCs, STs and OBCs as well as disabled persons by one year. The extension has been given from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016.

The cabinet sanctioned allotment of 4.900 hectare land for Sidhi, Rewa new broad gauge rail line project.

The cabinet sanctioned establishment of district employment offices at Ashok Nagar, Anuppur and Alirajpur, creation of 5 posts each and recurring and non-recurring expenditures on furniture/office equipments for them.

The cabinet decided that 15 BPO centres will be opened in rural areas of the state by Messrs Rural Shores, Bengaluru. Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Electronics Development Corporation was authorized to invite tenders for this.

The cabinet decided to upgrade 20 middle schools to high schools during 2013-14 and sanction 20 posts of principals at the rate of one post for each institution. Similarly, sanction was granted to 120 posts of contractual school teacher grade-II at the rate of 6 posts for each school, 20 posts of contractual school teacher grade-III, 20 posts of lower division clerk (computer trained) and 20 posts of peon at the rate of one post for each school.

The cabinet decided to open 20 new post-matric hostels during 2014-15, 20 posts of contractual teacher grade-I (contractual superintendent) at the rate of one post for each hostel, 60 posts of class IV employees on collector rate and 20 posts of sanitary worker.

 The cabinet sanctioned continuation of contractual posts of system analyst, data entry operator and IT operator for establishment of office of Commissioner Commercial Taxes under Commercial Taxes Department till March 31, 2016.

The cabinet decided to merge services of serving employees of State Oilseed Federation against various posts for establishment of office of Commissioner Commercial Taxes under Merger Scheme of General Administration Department. It was decided to merge 18 posts of commercial tax inspector, 3 of peon and one each of taxation assistant and driver.

The cabinet decided to bring in Madhya Pradesh Shram Kanoon (Amendment) and Prakeern Upbandh Vidheyak, 2015 to simplify provisions and processes in Labour Department.

The cabinet sanctioned Rs. 11 crore 40 lakh to Madhya Pradesh Tribal Finance and Development Corporation under Tribal Welfare Department to pay loans to National Tribal Finance and Development Corporation.

The cabinet endorsed draft amendment Bill-2015 regarding PK private university, Shivpuri, Mandsaur private university, Mandsaur and Medicaps private university, Indore. Main objective of establishment of private universities is to increase Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) and make better higher education opportunities available to youths. With establishment of private universities, students of the state will get more higher education opportunities in the state itself. There would be no financial burden on the state government and new job opportunities will also be available.

The cabinet sanctioned creation of 18 posts to strengthen Madhya Pradesh Council of Vocational Exam and Training (MPCVET). The decision has been taken to ensure effective monitoring of state level skill development scheme’s maximum expansion and future requirements.

Durgesh Raikwar
